If our lives are truly plans of God, someone had better call a meeting soon to remind us, once more, what great miracles we really are.

Practice the art of patience for nature never acts in haste.

First, recognize that you are not a sheep who will be satisfied with only a few nibbles of dry grass or with following the herd as they wander aimlessly, bleating and whining, all of their days. Separate yourself now from the multitude of humanity so that you will be able to control your own destiny. Remember that what others think and say and do need never influence what you think and say and do.

I can accomplish far more than I have, and I will, for why would the miracle which produced me end with my birth? Why can I not extend that miracle to my deeds of today?

I shall live this day as if it is my last. And if it is not, I shall fall to my knees and give thanks.

Take great comfort in knowing that ALL great feats are accomplished one small step at a time.

The victory of success is half won when one gains the habit of setting goals and achieving them.

To do anything truly worth doing, I must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger, but jump in with gusto and scramble through as well as I can.

Whenever you make a mistake or get knocked down by life, don't look back at it too long. Mistakes are life's way of teaching you. Your capacity for occasional blunders is inseparable from your capacity to reach your goals. No one wins them all, and your failures, when they happen, are just part of your growth. Shake off your blunders. How will you know your limits without an occasional failure? Never quit. Your turn will come.

Today will never happen again. Don't waste it with a false start or no start at all.
