I think bridges have a special meaning in our life. I think a book is a bridge. Any type of art is a bridge that allows different cultures to connect. You may not understand your neighbour's way of seeing life, but you sure understand your neighbour's joy in painting or dancing.

Culture makes people understand each other better. And if they _x000D_ understand each other better in their soul, it is easier to overcome the economic and political barriers. But first they have to understand that their neighbour is, in the end, just like them, with the same problems, the same questions.

Forget everything you've ever learned about the stars and they'll once more be transformed into angels, or into children, or into whatever you want to believe at that moment. It won't make you more stupid - after all, it's only a game - but it could enrich your life.

Knowledge without transformation is not wisdom.

My turning point was my pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. It was then that I, who had dedicated most of my life to penetrate the 'secrets' of the universe, realized that there are no secrets. Life is and will always be a mystery.

You can achieve anything if you believe in yourself. But the opposite is also true; without strong self-belief you will not go far.

Well, to find, not the meaning of life because I believe in mysteries, I believe that there is a mystery that goes far beyond our understanding.

For the warrior, there is no "better" or "worse"; everyone has the necessary gifts for his particular path.

Everyone's looking for the perfect teacher, but although their teachings might be divine, teachers are all too human, and that's something people find hard to accept. Don't confuse the teacher with the lesson, the ritual with the ecstasy, the transmitter of the symbol with the symbol itself.

Changes happen when we go against everything we're used to doing.

Every person on the face of the earth has a gift. In some this reveals itself spontaneously, others have to work to find it.

All you have to do is to pay attention; lessons always arrive when you are ready.
