Whenever two particles come together, they are held by a certain attraction; and there will come a time when those particles will separate. This is the eternal law. So, wherever there is a body - either grosser or finer, either in heaven or on earth - death will overcome it.

The seeker's silence is the loudest form of prayer.

Our allegiance is to the principles always, and not to the persons. Persons are but the embodiments, the illustrations of the principles. If the principles are there, the persons will come by the thousands and millions. If the principle is safe, persons like Buddha will be born by the hundreds and thousands. I remember that grand word of the Katha Upanishad - Shraddhâ or marvellous faith. An instance of Shraddha can be found in the life of Nachiketâ. To preach the doctrine of Shraddha or genuine faith is the mission of my life. Let me repeat to you that this faith is one of the potent factors of humanity and of all religions. First, have faith in yourselves.

It is a retarding element creating hatred and anger, and causing people to fight each other, and making them unsympathetic.

Man as Atman is really free; as man he is bound, changed by every physical condition.

Astrology and all these mystical things are generally signs of a weak mind

The best guide in life is strength. In religion, as in all other matters, discard everything that weakens you, have nothing to do with it.
