It's the kind of clothes that mothers and daughters can wear, in terms of concept... It's not about age. It's about taste, and it's about lifestyle. I believe women of all ages can wear anything.
Interpretation
Fashion transcends age and emphasizes personal taste and lifestyle.
Ralph Lauren's quote suggests that fashion should not be restricted by age but should instead reflect an individual's taste and lifestyle. It promotes the idea that anyone, regardless of their age, can express themselves through their clothing choices, highlighting the importance of personal style over societal norms.
In practice
In a fashion magazine article discussing ageless style.
For me, style is about quality, integrity and timelessness. It is free of trends but always feels fresh and new.
Fashion is transient, trends come and go. I believe in style, not fashion.
We all get report cards in many different ways, but the real excitement of what you're doing is in the doing of it. It's not what you're gonna get in the end - it's not the final curtain - it's really in the doing it, and loving what you're doing.
My philosophy has always been that I can sell chinos and T-shirts and $5,000 gowns - they just have to be the best of what they are.

The thing I always try to remember is that feet are attached to the leg, and that you must prolong the silhouette. The shoe elongates the leg and does it discreetly. The goal is to get people to look at a woman's legs. It's all about the leg. No, it's not about the leg. It's about the woman.
Don’t wear what you question, wear what you think is right for you.
