One difference between poetry and lyrics is that lyrics sort of fade into the background. They fade on the page and live on the stage when set to music.

I'm not responsible for my photographs. Photography is not documentary, but intuition, a poetic experience. My opinion is that a poet should express the emotion of all the ages and the thought of his own.

I know now that most people are so closely concerned with themselves that they are not aware of their own individuality, I can see myself, and it has helped me to say what I want to say in paint.
