Guillermo Del Toro's quote suggests that the true essence of travel lies in exploration and spontaneity rather than strict adherence to a pre-planned itinerary. When one is focused solely on following a schedule, they miss out on the opportunity for genuine experiences and discoveries, reducing their journey to that of a mere tourist rather than an adventurous traveler.
