I've never really liked L.A., because of its sprawl..

The fact that you can't base a coffeehouse on any other rock band is the other rock bands' problem, not mine..

Most things don't work like they are supposed to work..

We cannot make ourselves safer by making ourselves less free..

I'd rather make music than tour..

I grew up with the Beatles and they are still to this day my top band played in my iTunes..

The best part was watching Journey grow into this monster. The band was huge, playing these enormous gigs..

There are so many bands always doing the same album over and over; I want to evolve, try new things..

Led Zeppelin. Queen. Deep Purple. These were the bands I listened to. I still listen to them..

We are the sum total of our experiences..

I'm always relearning things I thought I'd learned for good a while back..

It's engrained in us by society not to love ourselves..
