Most of what's tricky about comedy is the perception of it and the audience's expectation..

But I've never looked at myself as being particularly funny..

You have to escape to survive, as you must survive to escape..

I didn't know how to grab your best material and put it together into a comedy set. I would just choose subjects and do it onstage. That's what I lea….

Experience is what you get while looking for something else..

But it is pretty to see what money will do..

Every thing is of the nature of no thing..

You don't see a wonderful shot in a comedy. Why? Because they don't want to distract you from what matters, which is the joke. It has to be funny, so….

Find out what works, and do more of that..
