Limits, like fear, is often an illusion.
Interpretation
Limits and fears are often self-imposed and not based in reality.
Michael Jordan's quote emphasizes that the boundaries we perceive in our abilities and the fears that hold us back are frequently artificial constructs of our own minds. By recognizing that these limitations can be illusions, we empower ourselves to overcome challenges and reach our true potential.

The antidote is to take full responsibility for yourself - for the time you take up and the space you occupy. If you don't know what you're here to do, then just do some good.
So often survivors have had their experiences denied, trivialized, or distorted. Writing is an important avenue for healing because it gives you the opportunity to define your own reality. You can say: This did happen to me. It was that bad. It was the fault & responsibility of the adult. I was—and am—innocent.” The Courage to Heal by Ellen Bass & Laura Davis
Has he paid his dues? Is he black enough? John Lewis and I were out there marching and organizing sit-ins back in the '60s so that his children and my children would not have to do it. We would have been failures if had to do the same things we did.
Instead of standing on the shore and proving to ourselves that the ocean cannot carry us, let us venture on its waters just to see.
I don't think nations can stand aside for ethnic cleansing and genocide.
The crisis is arrived when we must assert our rights, or submit to every imposition, that can be heaped upon us, till custom and use shall make us as tame and abject slaves, as the blacks we rule over with such arbitrary sway.
