Dressing well is a form of good manners.
Tom FordRead
Never, ever, ever wear anything you are uncomfortable in. Because that is what you'll project: 'I look like a fool.'
Interpretation
Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident.
This quote emphasizes the importance of comfort in one's clothing choices. When people wear outfits that they are uncomfortable in, it negatively affects their confidence and the impression they project to others, leading them to feel self-conscious and appear less at ease.

I don't believe that clothes can start a revolution, but I do believe that fashion is often a manifestation of a sociological or political climate.
There are mothers who sew for six months to make a fashion collection - someone's grandmother, someone's sister. We come in and get paid to walk for 10 minutes at the end. Don't dress to kill, dress to survive.
Buy clothes the size you want to wear.
All it takes are a few simple outfits. And there's one secret - The Simpler The Better
What I think I sell with my clothes is confidence, so hopefully all my dresses, my accessories, are friends to the women. When you open the closet, and your eyes are swollen, and you don't like the way you look, you go to your friends.
I want my clothes, my stores, everything I design to have that feeling of being natural and easy. And that takes effort, but you try not to have it show.
