Interpretation
A superhero embodies the ability to inspire hope and fight against negativity.
Mark Waid's quote suggests that the essence of a superhero is not just in their powers or abilities, but in their capacity to uplift and inspire others. By acting as a beacon of hope and standing against cynicism, superheroes encourage individuals to believe in the possibility of goodness and change, motivating them to rise above despair.
