Courage allows the successful woman to fail - and to learn powerful lessons from the failure - so that in the end, she didn't fail at all.
Interpretation
Courage enables women to embrace failure as a valuable learning experience, ultimately turning setbacks into success.
This quote by Maya Angelou highlights the importance of courage in a woman's journey towards success. It emphasizes that the ability to face failure head-on and glean lessons from it is what distinguishes successful individuals. Rather than viewing failure as a definitive endpoint, courage transforms it into an opportunity for growth, suggesting that true success includes learning from setbacks.

I think Clinton, after getting into office and into Washington, was shocked at being bludgeoned. So he spent time trying to be all things to all people - one way guaranteed not to be successful or respected in a lion's den. If I can stand up when I'm 80, I'll be happy to cruise around on a skateboard. If I feel like my skills are fading, I just won't do it publicly.
