A home is a kingdom of it's own in the midst of the world, a stronghold amid life's storms and stresses, a refuge, even a sanctuary.
Dietrich BonhoefferRead
It is the task of youth not to reshape the church, but rather to listen to the word of God.
Interpretation
Youth should focus on understanding divine teachings rather than trying to change established institutions.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer emphasizes that the responsibility of young people is not to alter the structures of the church, but to attentively hear and internalize the messages conveyed by God. This perspective suggests a foundational approach to spiritual growth, advocating for a commitment to faith and understanding over institutional reform.

He is his body, as Christ is completely his body, as the Church is the body of Christ

Our eyes are at fault, that is all.
Anyone who thinks that his time is too valuable to spend keeping quiet will eventually have no time for God and his brother, but only for himself and for his own follies.
He who has calmly reconciled his life to fate, and set proud death beneath his feet, can look fortune in the face, unbending both to good and bad; his countenance unconquered.

The work of woman is not to lessen the severity or the certainty of the penalty for the violation of the moral law, but to prevent this violation by the removal of the causes which lead to it.
Pope had been flattered till he thought himself one of the moving powers of the system of life. When he talked of laying down his pen, those who sat round him intreated and implored; and self-love did not suffer him to suspect that they went away and laughed.
